Canadian Avalanche Centre Simon Fraser University - Out of Bounds Survey

Source: http://www.outbounds.rem.sfu.ca/

In collaboration with Simon Fraser University, the Canadian Avalanche Centre is currently conducting a study on avalanche awareness and out-of-bounds skiing and snowboarding, with the goal to develop better avalanche awareness materia...l for this specific user group.

This survey looks at the habits of out-of-bounds skiers. It takes about 15 minutes to complete. It's a good way to give your two cents in the debate on "out-of-bounds skiing: to ban or not?"

A big part of that course is about avalanches. You can't learn enough about avalanches. And for me as an European it is ineresting to know what the differences are between Europea...n snow en Canadian snow...

Take care and be safe!
