To change your date of birth:

1. Navigate to your own profile by clicking "Profile" at the top of any page.
2. Click on the "Info" tab.
3. Click on "Edit Information" at the top.

If your friends do not have any upcoming birthdays, you will not see a Birthdays section on your home page. In addition, we will never show your own birthday in this box, but rest assured that we will notify your friends of your upcoming birthday if your privacy settings are set to allow them to view it.

Please also keep in mind that you may be unable to see some notifications depending on a user’s privacy settings. You can update the visibility of your birthday while editing your profile.

We will never show you a notification for your upcoming birthday on the right side of the home page. Rest assured that we will show the notification on your friends' home pages, if you have allowed your birthday to be visible from the "Basic" tab of Edit My Profile.
