I think it was Ed that says Google will rank Tweets of people that follow fewer people more than they will rank Tweets of people that are following a lot of people. Is this an assumption or have people published proof supporting this?

Doesn't matter - commentary mostly. No real "plot" point we're gonna spoil or anything ;-)

Good content. Mari's poor phone connection was rather unfortunate, though.

Thanks a lot for the talk on the FTC. I hadn't had time to really investigate it yet and you gave a really easy place to start. I have been noticing some marketing gurus hyping it up and people running scared in my industry (fitness) but as I thought it is only an issue if you were doing something shady. To me I think it is good news.

Keep up the great work.

Have you heard that Freeteleconferencecall.com has raised it affiliate fees to the Long Distance providers by 2000%, causing some of them to limit the numbers of calls they will let through at any time. My long distance provider in Canada (Distributel) limits calls as does Skype. Distributel to me that there are several long distance providers in the US taking legal action again FreeTeleconferencecall.com and some other free conference call providers who have all raised there affiliate rates. The impact of this to Internet Marketers is that they will schedule a call, thinking that customers or prospects can get through but if the long distance providers limit access, then many callers will be turned away, limiting the value of this medium to reach people.

I thought you might like to check this out with your long distance providers. I hear the 1-712 and 1-218 numbers are affected.

If this turns out to be more widespread than I have found, you might want o include this information in your internet marketing podcast.... See More

Thanks

It was Lynn's comments at the end of this episode that made me, again, change my take on the whole Facebook thing. What did you think about the episode?

I ended up blogging a full-on reply to that topic at ClickNewz. The short side of the story is that I am NOT going to unfriend everyone and focus on Pages only. Really great topic though - and I really enjoyed yours & Ed Dale's posts on the topic as well.
