Dior's Poetic Playhouse Aahhh....I remember those days....remember the VOUGE-A-SEEMA Section of the club...where all the "Happy People" would be battle'n over who vouged the best and OMG! who could forget the stage where all the really "Ecentric One's" danced, especially the man with the cape holdin the flashlight to face while he did his thi...ng!..LMOL...words can't express how much I miss those days...It's The Day The Music Died.

Sheena Dance Better Days and Larry Levan....damn those were good times! Hangin' with my boy David Cole (C&C Music Factory) learnin' all the latest dances then going to The Loft, Brown's, The Garage, Buttermilk Bottom and even CBGB's just doing it out on the sidewalk to test them out. Not to mention Washington Park before we even ...hit the clubs! Crazy wonderful days for sure. Sure do miss them; life was soooooo much sweeter then.

Valerie Larry Levan changed the way people viewed music forever. He influenced many DJ's musicians, dancers, and people in general. After hearing him play, music went to another level. I miss his music, but his music lives in me and sooo many other people. I remember being in college and studying so hard every night. My rewa...rd would be going to the Zanz in Newark, NJ on Wed. nights to hear him play. That was freedom, enlightment, happiness, love, and creativity. College was exciting because I had LL on heavy rotation in my back pack. I had mixed tapes of LL, Frankie Knuckles, Larry Patterson, Tee Scott, Shep Pettibone, and all the other classic House Music DJ's!! Simply the Best. Icons! Loleleatta Holliway mixes and Is it all over my face...Yeah...Yeah..tha BOMB! They were MY ultimate favorite mixes...

Derrick Those we the best days of my life, the years between 1980 - 1986. Going to the clubs - Nickel Bar, better dayz and The Paradise Garage, traveling to DC for The Clubhouse, or Katacombs in Philly. Going to some of those clubs that did not serve liquor, and have a ball, going in at 1am and coming out at9am the following m...orning, those were awesome times. The music and sound of the Base was so fierce! Ma Foom Bay was the best!
