The eagerly awaited report gave Democrats ammunition against Republicans who have criticized the bill on the ground that it would raise costs for most Americans.

You are absolutely right Berne. Law suits weed out the bad doctors, facilities and pharmaceuticals that kill and cripple Americans of both political parties. Good doctors, facilities and med. companies do not get sued.
Aside from Health Care, the next thing that needs to be reformed is Political Campaigns. The US Congress doesn't now and will ... See Morenever again represent the people, until we ban lobbyist, ban PACS, ban political adds by anyone other than the candidate, and limit contributions by any individual to $50, and $1,000 per corporation, with violators going to prison.
We will not get real health care reform that All Americans desperately need because the current bill was written by the insurance companies, thanks to the Republicans and those few Democrats confused about their party affiliation. They must go in their next primaries.

I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving 2009!

Dear Friends,

If you still have eyes to see,... See More
Ears to hear,
Feet to take you where you desire,
A heart to feel and love,
A heart to feel and cry,
A body to appreciate, (...Fearfully and wonderfully made...)
Food to eat,
A bed to sleep in,
A place you call your own, your space,

A car to take you places,
A bus or train to ferry you around,
Fly in a plane and come back,
A job to look at,
Income to keep you afloat,

Sisters and brothers to talk to,
Cousins and relatives to joke with,
Aunts and Uncles to protect and laugh with you,
(A) Parent(s) to cry with you and love you unconditionally,
Abekika okukukakasa nti bakwagala era oli wa muwendo,
Relatives and friends to give confirm your identity.
A culture to embrace you,

A computer to take you places you never dreamed of,
To open worlds you would never go to,
"Buli Wendi Nkufuna" to keep you in touch miles away,

Even in times of grief God comforts us,
Assures us in times of fear.

God to love you unconditionally,
God to show His mercy to you,
God sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for you,
For you are unique,
God forgiving your sins and adopting you as His daughter or son,

We have so many things to be thankful for this year.
Life is a gift that we should respect and use with a purpose and effectively to glorify our Creator who freely gave to us.
