Revolution Academy Its funny, when I hear the term jacket wrestlers. This term comes up when folks get beat by a person who was a wrestler, but now is taking a run at bjj. The thing is just because they do not know many submission or sweeps, they do know position , balance and how to use thier weight. PART 1 OF 2
Revolution Academy So in MY opinion most good wrestlers come into the game of competing NOT KNOWLEDGE of Jiu-Jitsu a blue belt/purple belt. For most people this is hard to understand. My tip is do not be envious, work with the person you call a jacket wrestler because he is only going to make you BETTER. PART 2 OF 2

Revolution Academy Congrats to the new purple belts at the academy (Jo Jo, Rizzo and Deluca). All three have put their heart and souls into Jiu-Jitsu and the academy. I am very proud of all them. Also, Tony my Instructor promoted me to my 3rd degree on my brown belt. Team training at 12 tomorrow.

Revolution Academy Alright there guys and gals. Here are the days we are open this week Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday. Thursday will be early and just for the fight/Comp team. Everyone have a safe and happy Holiday. We will re-open on Monday the 28th.
