Why don't you leave the group then, it obviously contains things happening around the fair "grounds".

There's a lot that goes on at the fairgrounds the rest of the year. Do you really think it sits empty the rest of the time?

I know - the State Fair is only ten days out of the year. And the garbage man only works from 6:15-6:20 on Tuesday mornings.

Fairs are the best community builder! They have so much more to offer than just 2 weeks. THANK YOU MN STATE FAIR for all that you do!!!!

No matter what, someone, somewhere, will always be offended by something. Do you think they were intentionally being malicious? I'm going to guess not, but they could have perhaps put more thought into title.

ez folks... just having a bit of fun. I have been following the State Fair posts and noticed just how easy it is to get people to change the subject related to the original post. my point has been proven. Now let the verbal bashing begin.

There is also a free horse show at the fair grounds this weekend.

Munchkin markets is a huge consignment sale for gently used childrens clothes- FYI I went to it last year at Stillwater and got some really good deals on decent stuff!

I would LOVE to go.. but I am in Michigan :( Drats!

We keep our calender clear for the Twin Cities Arts and Craft show each year......the aroma of cheese curds and corn dogs still lingers......

We live four blocks away and go to the grounds as often as possible. It's a great place to take walks and bike rides in the middle of the week. I just wonder around and pretend I can still smell the grease. Yes, I lead a very small life. :)
