St. Paul Police Department SPPD reminds you to be cautious of pet shipping and adoption scams. Typically, scammer asks for money for various shipping/vaccination costs or send a check (fake) for a larger amount than you had asked and later tell you it was a mistake and ask for the difference back. In both situations, you lose money and are out a... pet. If uncertain contact a professional to verify the site you are using or do some web research.

St. Paul Police Department SPPD wants to remind you of some holiday safety tips for your home. Do not keep presents near windows where they can be seen from the street, especially after they have been opened. Also, if you are going to be away from your house for the holidays leave lights, radios or televisions on or ask a neighbor to turn them... on and off periodically. For more holiday safety tips, check out this link:

St. Paul Police Department On December 17, 2009 sworn and non-sworn members of the Saint Paul Police Department escorted Santa, Mrs. Claus, and a few of their elves to Saint Paul and Gillette Children’s Hospitals. The “Cops and Kids” initiative provides gifts, support, and well wishes to children who are hospitalized during the holidays. In add...ition, the effort provides the hospitals with games, movies, and entertainment consoles that can be used by patients and their families during a hospitalization. Again this year, Cops and Kids fulfilled the special wishes and needs of numerous children (and their families), who face extremely serious and potentially life threatening medical conditions.

It depends, not on the officer, but one thing alone: How did the homeowner respond? Did He respond gratefully, since the officer was being thorough, in his investigation, protecting his interests, or did he respond defensively, beligerently, disrespectfully. Officers are respondants, they react to the adjenda set by the other person. Just my two cents, as a retired SPPD Officer.

Cops don't make enough money for all they have to handle. When school is out, they become kids parents cuz, the parents won't do anything. During the school year, it's the teachers that are parents. BOTH need to be paid more!!!!!!! God Bless these people :-)
