found you guys 4 days too late. Live in Toms River and looking to find people that want to forage. Mom was a big time forage. Remember going out into the woods with her. Her mushroom book is worn to no end. See you in Nov. Thanks for the site.

Hey Scott, glad you found us! Not too much Foraging for us this time of year, but we do have an Acorn Processing workshop coming up in December -- Tasty, nutritious and plentiful. In the meantime, come on out to our next Open Skills Night on Wednesday November 18. It's free, and everyone is welcome. Anytime after 6pm. Look forward to meeting you!

Can't wait to start workshops again tomorrow at the P.I.N.E. Project. Gathering Baskets and Acorn Processing. Will post photos as soon as we're back to NJ. (Stupid slow dial-up internet...)

A friend's place up in the Adirondacks, not too far from the Lake Placid area. TONS of HUGE birch. All of it came off of already downed or standing dead.
