Well, once again, it was not in the stars for me. I was very seriously going to come (seriously...really!!!), but my kid wasn't feeling well and my wife was pretty stressed out about it so I was a good Dad and stayed home to help her out. Miss you guys!

Practical Primitive

Practical Primitive This four month Intensive Skills Program focuses on the skills involved in the "traditional" style of fair-chase, spot-and-stalk hunting. These four folks will build their own bows, harvest and make their own arrows and points, and learn to track, trail, spot and stalk game -- the skills of the Ultimate Hunter. This first month was all about bows!

Practical Primitive

Practical Primitive The first gathering of our new Texas Hunter-Gatherer tribe! These 5 fellas will be meeting one 3-day weekend every other month to learn and practice the skills of our Hunter-Gatherer ancestors. Check out just some of what they did this month!

Practical Primitive

Practical Primitive apologizes for how long it's been since we've posted an update -- just been so darn busy with life! But it's "Using the Whole Animal" workshop week and we just couldn't let that one go by without letting y'all know how much fun we're having!

found you guys 4 days too late. Live in Toms River and looking to find people that want to forage. Mom was a big time forage. Remember going out into the woods with her. Her mushroom book is worn to no end. See you in Nov. Thanks for the site.
