This is a serius matter and nothing to be relax about. People are suffering and dying every day by the hands of butcher spdc thugs. I wonder any one will shoot their mouth like that if they have to carry the ammo and supplies like mules, and walk on the front and suround them on the side to protact the gun carrying soldiers as mine sweepers and ... See Morebullet buffers. On top of that the old folks, children and women are tortured, killed and raped.
Monks are the voice of the suffering people and not to be mocked at.

I hope compassion prevails. Her body has been held captive all this time yet not her soul. Let both free and she may once again move forward to achieve so much equality and hope within this world, this world polluted with corruption yet this world that deserves more.

Although it would be excellent news to free her it maybe tactically a mistake to FOCUS the movement on HER its so simple for the regime to imprison her and thus the cause and movement when ALL the people suffer unimaginable crimes daily...far better to bring HUMAN rights and crimes against Humanity in the Huge against specific junta members and the military so that we can have then arrested if they leave Burma on an international arrest warrant?

Suu Kyi is the reason Burma's fight for democracy remains on the map as it does - not sure we'd hear as much without her unwavering commitment - and the junta's brutal disregard for her rights. That being said, it is an entire country held hostage - not just an individual - and anything that can be done to support the movement should be done.
