One thing... I tried and tried for the past several years but Cat annoys me so much to the point where I don't want to watch... I enjoy the dancing so much though...

I am glad I am not the only one who dislikes the new stage. It makes the show unenjoyable now. I am not sure I will continue watching. :o(

also do not like camera work..want to see the dance not close up of face.

I am glad that I am not the only one noticing that the camera angles on this stage suck. It's almost as if they cannot get any sort of intimacy on this new stage...I know their goal was probably to take up to the next level- i.e. Big stage, but people don't like it. Shoot it right, or get a new stage layout, a more intimate one and one with ... See Morestairs and a top level, like the old one. sheesh. GET A CLUE SYTYCD. Fans have been talking about this for weeks- address this issue verbally on the next show already. *rolls eyes*

HATE the stage. The backdrop is way too distracting. I'm incredibly disappointed in this show this season.

Ditto Maggie!! What's the point of watching a dance if we can't see the whole thing??? It's the equivalent of trying to watch American Idol with parts of their songs cut out!!!

YES YES YES - all those things you say about the stage and camera angles are true. AWFUL! Last season It seems the camera work has gotten worse as the seasons have gone on. Why all the closeups? I want to see the whole thing as the choreographer intends!

Agreed about the stage. It's simply too big -- too empty -- for the dancers to fill. I also suspect the size of the stage is blocking the cameras from getting good shots, hence all the stupid close-ups.I think this is the best show on TV, but this season is being mangled by some pretty crappy stagecraft.

I agree about the backgrounds, but I miss the audience surrounding the stage. LUVV my some NappyTab!

The new stage is just--bleh. I like the old stage cause it was wayyy more personable! But I do like all the effects they can do now.

Another stage hater here. I loved how close the audience was to the old one - much more fun that way.

I miss Mia Michaels routines... Tab & Napoleon's are getting repetitive..need some new choreographers to change it up and keep it new.

I hate the new stage and backdrop.. very distracting.. I miss the old round stage.. it felt more private, more special..
Now.. there is so much going on with all of that stuff and backgrounds and such.. too busy, takes away from the dancing.. I am very disappointed... and I am not even going to coment about the cameras $%^*...

i'm SO sick of their routines! boring boring boring. we need some new hip hop choreographers stat! i'm also getting more and more annoyed with mary. they need to kick her off, and have guest judges along with nigel and the faboulus mr. shankman.

My favorites Jakob and Ellenore ( because I love her wit) But Asleigh is growing on me ( she was my least favorite in the beginning, because of her mugging during the auditions)

The beginning of this season is somewhat disappointing....

I've missed 3/4 of the eps because of stupid baseball and Fox's schedule changing the show from Tues/Wed to Mon/Tues. What's up with that??

Tabitha and Napoleon really make me chuckle. Tabitha looks like a 1st grade school teacher and Napoleon looks like an IT guy. But they are fun.

Russell is awesome. Legacy is awesome. Mollee is annoying as hell. The rest are forgetable. And the rest are BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOORING.

I just read all the comments below and agree with most, dislike the new stage, but Love Kat, dislike the camera close ups during the dances, love the choreographers, but really miss Mia and Shane Sparks, LOVE the show, very happy there is a fall season this year!!!!!!! I am a huge Nathan fan, I hope he wins this season!!!!

I love Tabitha and Napoleon. Tabitha actually has a dance workout video out that is so much fun to do and very easy to follow.

I love the choreographers but I don't think they have much to work with...unfortunately I think the best talents either had to drop out or not commit to the show. I think Season 6's talent pales in comparison to that of Season 5, Ade, Jeanine, Kayla! Melissa...BRANDON you can't beat that. Last season was so strong I couldn't WAIT to watch it. Now I... See More can honestly say I am not excited. I don't like the stage, I don't like the talent this season...I am looking forward to season 7. This year sux big time!
