"The Year Of Magical Thinking" was amazing, and captivating- it held the attention of us TRW kids, and thats saying something!

After the incredibly long, long, long "The Alchemist", "That Face" was a breath of fresh air so to speak. Actually more a smack in the mush really. But what a play. I was totally blown away by it. The publicity blurb was spot on for a change - a disfunctional family in freefall. It was a sheer joy to be a silent witness to what was happening before me on that stage. I loved the writing, the acting, the set, in fact everything. Five bright shinning stars from me.

And P.S. Can we have a break from any more co-productions with the Bell Shakespear Co. for a while. Please. Pretty please even.

disturbing, very moving - members of our group were moved to tears. the acting was fabulous - the set was brilliant - especially the lighting linking the various parts. very very good

Good show! Confronting and convincing. The start was scary - I didn't know what you were going to do....Loved the alcohol addicted Mother, what a splendid act, so sad, so true. And the dependent Son, destroyed by his lonely parasitic Mother - seen it before in real life, but not on the stage - congratulations! What a stunning piece of work for a 19 year old. Encore!

The acting was great. I think they all held it together really well. The play is confronting and I believe that everyone will react to it differently. I swear when appropriate however the excessive use of the 'f' word was a bit over the top.
My only other criticism is the smoking on stage. As someone that suffers from asmtha I was lucky I had my puffa in my bag!
As I said, loved the acting, loved the venue.... content was something I probably wouldn't rush out to see.
